ESSMA Survey: Fan experience 2022-2023


Fan experience has become an increasingly important factor for clubs. It is broader than just the fan experience itself. Clubs want to stay in touch with their fans through all possible channels beside the stadium. And the possibilities are endless.

Therefore ESSMA is conducting a fan experience survey amongst its members to get a better understanding of how European stadiums are handling fan experience today and how they can strengthen it in the (near) future.

This survey is divided into 4 main categories:

  • General information
  • Membership
  • Customer service 
  • Fan clubs

We would like to ask you to complete this survey, which should take you no longer than 15 minutes, to the best of your knowledge. Thereby helping us to identify trends and best practices in European stadiums and ultimately creating a benchmark report with practical examples. Your answers will be analysed anonymously, along with the data gathered from other European stadiums/clus to creat a fan experience benchmark report.
