ESSMA Stewarding Survey 2023

Welcome to the ESSMA stewarding survey! We are delighted that you have chosen to participate in our survey on stewarding in sports venues. Your input is essential in helping us gain valuable insights into how to improve stewarding practices in the sports industry. 

This survey is divided into five small chapters:  Attracting stewards, Training stewards, Retaining stewards, Stewarding as customer service, The impact of COVID and Anti-social behaviour.  

Each chapter focuses on a specific aspect of stewarding, and your answers will help us understand the challenges and opportunities that exist in each area.
